Centex offers a wide range of equipment for the Municipal market ranging from pumps to industrial grinders.  Our heavy-duty construction has proven reliable in pump station applications for clear water, wastewater, and treated effluent.

Our solutions include centrifugal pumps which can be installed in a wide variety of configurations and can be driven by diesel engines, electric motors, or hydraulic motors.   Centex provides additional solutions for wastewater mixing systems to advanced treatment equipment.  We offer a variety of screening and grinding conditioning products carefully engineered for the most challenging conditions.

CLEAR LIQUID PUMPS

Cornell’s clear liquid pumps are known around the world as the most durable, most reliable, highest efficient pumps in the industry. They can be found in a variety of applications in the Agricultural, Industrial, and Municipal markets and are available in Close-Coupled, SAE Engine Mounted, Horizontal, Vertical Configurations and Vertical Turbines.

CUTTER PUMPS

Centex Fluid Products distributes Cornell line of Cutter Pumps. The cutter pump was created in order to address the urgent need of reducing clogging due to ragging and roping. With the increased use of ‘flushable’ materials and extraneous cleaning products, the issue of clogging—leading to downtime, pump destruction, and pipe damage, has increased markedly.

Useful in municipal, agricultural, and other markets, the cutters unique stationary and rotating blade design allows material to pass through the impeller that would tend to clog a non-cutter pump. The cutter is adjustable and made from special hardened metal to extended life operation. The cutter impeller can be retrofitted on existing pumps and will not change the external pump dimensions.

Cornell’s cutters are offered in two versions: the standard Blade Cutter which can be fitted into virtually any existing pump model or the specially designed Waste Warrior pump models for more aggressive ragging and plugging.

SOLIDS HANDLING

Cornell’s Solids handling pumps are designed to address solids present in the pumping media. Whether it is disposal or hydro-transportation of delicate solids, Cornell has an array of pumps for a vast range of applications in the Municipal, Industrial and Agricultural markets. They are available in a variety of configurations and construction materials to suit the most demanding solids handling applications. Cornell’s solids handling pumps feature enclosed, semi-open, or Delta impellers. These pumps are available in a variety of mounting configurations including Close-Coupled, SAE Engine, Horizontal, and Vertical Mounted.

HYDRO TURBINES

Cornell’s Hydro Turbines can be used in industrial plants, small municipalities, and farms by tapping into available resources and produce electric power which can be used as a revenue source or a means to reduce overall energy demand. Cornell’s Hydro Turbines make it possible to generate power from water sources such as wastewater, excess pump head, or natural streams. Cornell’s Hydro Turbines utilize a centrifugal design for higher efficiency operation.
